Character's Series Weiss Kreuz
Characters Name: Farfarello; Jei
Age: Twenty
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons Farfarello reserves a serious penchant for knives and blades. His obsession takes a venture towards disturbing, as he sheathes the various blades on his person beneath his skin and muscle both as an act of self-desecration as well as to shock his enemies to where he can more readily attack. Farfarello is a masochist and a sadist; his greatest power is to work himself into a state where he feels no pain at all. At this level he will go to any length to do what he has set out to done, even if it causes physical damage to himself.
Appearance: From top to bottom: His hair is kept shorn close to his scalp and has grayed prior to old age. The most remarkable characteristic about Farfarello is the eyepatch he wears to cover his left eye, but also the pair of scars on the right side of his face are worthy of noticing. He is pale and sickly in complexion, though his trim physique and toned arms suggest that he is not lacking in physical strength. His attire is never complex, consisting mostly of sleeveless blazers and slim fitting slacks; around either of his legs are leather belts attached in a chain gang fashion, and ode to the fact that he is a prisoner of his mind. Other points to notice are the bandages he wears almost like badges of honor beneath his clothing and around his upper and forearms.
Weaknesses: Though it is his mission in life it is easily said that God, the church, any mention of religion, and family are Farfarello’s greatest weaknesses. His life has been set up to prove God as a wicked being, and his hatred for the church makes him undeniably vulnerable. Also, his history with his family was his path into madness; with those memories comes an instability that leave Farfarello susceptible to being attacked whether it is physically, mentally, or emotionally. Also his tolerance to pain steps in as a weakness because Farfarello will fight even when he surpasses his limits.
Personality: For the most part Farfarello is a very reserved individual that likes to keep to himself. When he does speak the manner in which he does and his choice of prose is nothing less than exquisite: he is a philosopher, an intellectual man, someone prone to think and debate the greater things, and he is stark-raving mad. He is a Mad Hatter-esque figure in that what knowledge he has been absorbed in his mind over the years leaves his lips in shattered fragments of dementia and insanity. He shifts from being calm one moment and a screaming, volatile lunatic the next, with the capacity to kill at a moment’s notice. Ordinarily his anger is very narrowly focused and only shows when provoked, and even still he keeps a steady and serious nature about himself until the finale. Most of the hatred and anger Farfarello feels is actually towards himself, but the only method he knows to communicate his frustration is by seeking the destruction of himself and others. He does not consider himself when he fights; if Farfarello is going to engage in battle then he will do so until either the other person dies, he is interrupted, or he himself dies.

APPLICATION: [Collard Greens] Pt II
Strengths: In terms of mentality Farfarello’s greatest strength is his intellect, although twisted and deranged. His capacity to raise his tolerance of pain to the level where he feels none is both a strength and a weakness: a strength because he can keep fighting until the bitter end and a weakness because he doesn’t know when he has reached his limit. Due to his use of knives he is skilled with blades as a choice of weapon.
Fears: Farfarello’s one true fear is God. The only reason I can place to his obsession with making God hurt and cry is that in some way he must fear that God will do all these things to him one day. So in his lifetime while he still has control Farfarello seeks to inflict pain on God in anyway, through torture of himself and others. Farfarello must also fear failure as well, because to fail would bring God some sort of sick pleasure (at least in his own mind) and that he was wrong about God not being a compassionate and caring deity.
History:
Farfarello at present is a member of the assassin team “Schwartz” under the direction of Takatori Reiji, operating by the code name of “Berzerker”. It is not clear how long Farfarello has been with the Schwartz, why he is with the Schwartz, or what his motives were for joining initially. More often his time with the other Schwartz members is him in isolation under the protection of a straight jacket, or often hanging from the ceiling, to prevent him from self-destruction or potential suicide. His melancholic nature and self-hatred have proved him to be extremely volatile and without mercy in each meeting with the members of Weiss, and in spite of his love for pain he doesn’t know when to restrict himself and retreat.

The reason that Farfarello has become lunatic directly stems from his dark childhood. He grew up in Ireland under the loving pet name of “Jei” by either of his parents and followed strictly to the guidelines of the Catholic faith. He was in all senses happy, normal, and had a great passion and loving for God as well as the nun that cared for him, Ruth. Things took an unfortunate twist, however; Jei discovered one day that his “mother” was not his own, and that Ruth was in fact his biological mother. Unable to grasp this concept and effectively communicate his anger Jei killed his entire family in an explosion of rage, though the trauma left him without memories of this event.

From this point Farfarello turned into a God-hating, self-loathing maniac that is out for revenge against the holy creator. He has devoted himself to doing anything that will make God cry since Farfarello wants Him to suffer for taking away his family, and denying him the normal happiness that could be found in life. When Farfarello uncovers the truth once more about what happened to his family, and that Ruth is his true mother he does not hesitate to kill her however. Dementia has taken full reign over him and his mind is split between Jei the intellect and melancholic teen, and Berzerker the crazed assassin that has a bent for proving God wrong.

Character's SeriesFinal Fantasy VII
Characters Name:Reno
Age:23
Sex:male
Abilities and WeaponsElectro Mag Rod, as well as an electricity based limit break.
Appearance:Bright red hair, short in front, styled in spikes that frame his face, which long bangs held back by a pair of dark lensed goggles, long in the back and typically drawn into a ponytail at the nape of his neck.

His build is very lanky, typical fighting weight is about 155-160 pounds and he is around 5'10" tall. He has extremely fair skin, with a smattering of freckles over his cheeks and the bridge of his nose, and pale green eyes.

Personality:USUALLY very fun loving and happy go lucky, though can also be very quick tempered. Mercurial in personality. Most people who don't know him only see the smiles, smirks, and angry expressions. It is only those he is close to and trusts that ever see tears.

Underneath it all, though, is a very deep, sensitive, and loving spirit, one that forgives easily and very RARELY holds grudges if the person has tried to make things right.

Strengths:Reno's strongest traits, I think, would be his innate loyalty and ability to adapt. He is EXTREMELY protective of those he cares about, to the point of self-sacrifice.

Weaknesses:His great impulsiveness. Reno has a highly impulsive personality, especially when angered, and will on occasion do or say things without thinking them through first.

Fears:Being left utterly alone. Though Reno has an extremely independent nature, he does not deal well with a lack of other people around him.

History: Raised in a poor family, with a father who drank almost constantly. Father was abusive, mother tried to protect him, but it wasn't easy. Left home after his last violent fight with his father at the age of 14.

He joined a street gang after leaving home, ran with them for a time until he and the leader of said gang got into a tussle over his own contributions to gang as a whole, and when he was basically asked to prostitute himself, and he said no, he was thrown out.

It was very shortly after the time that he was thrown out that he was found by Tseng and recruited into the Turks.

Sample RP Post:"You are ONE INCH away from me coming in and doing it myself." Reno's voice came out a low growl. He had NO USE at all for the silver haired fucks, NONE. Reno then stuck his finger in his mouth, one of his nails driving him utterly BATSHIT, but he didn't realize HOW it looked to an already hopped up Rude, until his eyes caught his partner's. ..then he grinned around the finger and batted his eyes at him.

Character's Series Getbackers
Characters Name: Amano Ginji
Age: 21
Sex: M
Abilities and Weapons

Appearance: Ginji is a blond-haired, brown eyed boy. Some people might notice that this is genetically highly unusual, but truthfully Ginji originally had more traditional dark brown hair until the day he first showed his powers (somehow the electrical surge bleached his hair permanently). He is 176 cm tall and weighs 62 kg. He usually wears baggy clothing and that often gives him the image of being a bit “thicker” than he really is. He’s actually pretty thin and doesn’t really have a super-defined body. He’s fit in the sense that he as muscle tone, but he’s no body-builder. He also is never well-fed so he’s never had the chance to have much body fat. His emotions are clearly shown on his face. His eyes are wide and happy. He lets his hair go all over the place, some of it spikes up and some of it falls on his face. Alternately, when he turned into Raitei, Ginji’s eyes were narrower, his hair was all the way spiked back, and his face was blank or angry.

APPLICATION [Sushi] -- Part Two
Personality: For a long time Ginji actually had two personalities. For sake of simplicity, one of them is referred to as ‘Ginji’ while the other is referred to as ‘Raitei’ (Raitei is actually the title that Ginji used when he was the leader of VOLTS and didn’t actually begin as the ‘name’ of his spilt personality, but became the name used to describe him, especially after Ginji left Mugenjou).

Ginji is sweet, kind, compassionate, trusting, naive and a little childish (in a cute kind of way). He cares about people and the pain they have to go through. He trusts people automatically unless they do something to make him dislike them (for instance he automatically hates/dislikes/is scared of Akabane because the good doctor mercilessly murders a group of people and leaves their mutilated bodies in a place where the Getbackers come across them). He complains about simple things ("I'm hungry"). He comes across as nothing special, just a cute, innocent kid fighting for all the right reasons. He has no fear of expressing emotion (even sadness). He is very friendly and loveable. He is also a natural leader without realizing it. His words can stir people to action, but all he is doing is saying what he really thinks and feels. He's a people person, well liked by others, and he possesses a kind heart. His friends trust him and believe in him. He's loyal and kind and hates injustice. It was these latter personality traits that were the driving force behind the creation of his gang. It’s the reason people became so loyal to him. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. He lacks any sort of real education. He has basic math and can read Japanese, but when it comes to culture he’s almost completely clueless (he mixes up the Venus de Milo and the Statue of Liberty, for instance). He also sometimes lacks common sense and does things that are a little more than foolish. He has a real knack for getting himself into trouble and has no sense of direction.

Underneath this kind person was a power so strong that it was able to rule over the slums of Mugenjou with an electric fist. This power was his second personality. Raitei was cold, merciless and mostly emotionless (it's safe to say the only real emotion he feels is anger). He has no qualms about killing people and is basically the opposite of Ginji. Raitei was an arrogant force who wants only to destroy anything that is in his way. He had his own way of thinking and speaking (when he finds a reason to speak at all that is) that is very different from Ginji. He came out when Ginji needed him (when there's a real threat to his life or the lives of people that he cares about) but this was a very bad thing. For one, Raitei had no alliances or loyalty. He was neither bad nor good. He simply was power, uncontrolled power, and that made him very dangerous. For two, Ginji's mental state was slowly falling apart and the more he became Raitei the more likely he was going to stay Raitei. The innocent Ginji also had to face the horrible things Raitei had done the second they switched back. The guilt was almost too much for him to handle and the major cause of most of Ginji’s angst. Despite this, Raitei’s major point was to protect Ginji. He appeared when Ginji was suffering and tried to make whatever was making Ginji suffer disappear. It was a horrible cycle though as the means Raitei used to do that usually caused Ginji more pain.

Recently, Ginji discovered the truth of Raitei. The multiple personality was actually put inside of his programming by his mother to protect him against the things that would threaten him. After facing Brain Trust and making his choice to remain in the Shinjuku he knew, Raitei faded away.

Now Ginji gets to figure out who he is without that kind of force threatening him beneath the surface.

Character's Series: Detective Conan
Characters Name:: Edogawa Conan/ Kudo Shinichi
Age: 7/17 ...it's complicated.. >>
Sex: Male.
Abilities and Weapons: Oh Jesus. ..this might could take a while.

Bowtie Voice simulator: the cute little bow-tie he wears? Yeah, that's Secretly a voice changing machine so he can disguise his voice as the person he's talking as to solve a case, or just to use his real voice.

Super Sneakers: the red shoes he wears, when turned on, send currents through Conan's legs, charging them for a short period of time. They have three settings, low, medium, and high, and are activated by twisting the white knob cleverly hidden on the heel of the shoes.

Homing Glasses: these glasses have various parts to them, first and foremost they have a listening device embedded into the frame of the glasses, the tips of the frame can come off and stored in a place where the person/people Conan is listening in on can't find them. Second there is a button on the frames that can be pressed down and show Conan where his tracking devices(the yellow stickers on his jacket) are. Third are the tracking devices, which are hidden on the button of his blue blazer. Fourth, they act as magnifying glasses, and fifth there is a tracking device in the glasses themselves, so should he ever lose them, he can use the 'spare pair' and easily find them again. For added fun, six, as of the third Detective Conan Movie they are bullet proof.

Stun-Dart Watch: The top of the watch flips open and if the knob used to change the time is pressed in, a small dart will be released. The person it strike will fall asleep for a few minutes, giving Conan time to use the bowtie and explain his deductions. Only one dart fits in at a time.

Solar Powered Skateboard: As the name suggests, it's a skateboard that runs on solar energy. the only difference is that this skateboard can go alarmingly fast. faster then a car fast. >> If he has it during the game, that I leave up to the Mods.

Mini-speaker: A small speaker that Conan usually hides in his pocket, he uses it for when he can't hide behind Kogoro, he simply places the speaker somewhere it won't be found, hides, and deduces. The speakers are designed to accommodate the bowtie

Re: APPLICATION: [oh goodness... I don't know... we'll go with ice cream.] part 2
Bento-Fax: It's a fax machine disguised as a lunch box. Or I should say it's both, as real food can be put on the top tray. Weather or not Conan has it here I have no idea, possibly if he had stopped by a book store on the way home from school, he might.

Stretchy-Suspenders: suspenders that stretch out fifty feet and can be used to lift heavy objects and pull things apart.

Soccer Ball Belt: this belt has a switch that will automatically inflate a balloon that looks very much like a soccer ball. With this, and his shoes, Conan is always armed. Only two balloons are packed into the belt.

Ear-ring cell phone: mentioning this is pointless as Conan ditched the ear-ring the minute he got an actual cell phone. Though, it is possible he still has it incase of emergency.

Appearance:: Conan looks like small boy with dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes. At times his eyes are wide with childhood glee, most times his eyes are slightly narrowed, making him seem older then he appears. He wears thickly rimmed, round glasses.

To add to his child-like appearance he normally wears a blue blazer with a white button up shirt under it and light blue shorts. Also on his person are his red super sneakers, and red bowtie.

Please note: Wardrobes change in the series and if Conan is merely wearing a t-shirt he has most likely stuffed the bowtie into a random pocket, he makes an effort to carry it with him at all times.

Shinichi: Shinichi is the teenged/true form of Conan. As such he looks identical to Conan, only real difference is the wardrobe and the height. XD; plus also Shinichi's eyes never change in shape, i.e. ALWAYS slightly narrowed.

Character's Series GetBackers
Characters Name: MakubeX
Age: 14
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons: MakubeX is very good with computers and can do just about anything with them. He can make flawless virtual worlds or control people through his wire doll system. By extension, he also excels at video games. (Although none of this will likely be particularly useful.) He is a generally good and persuasive leader. He isn’t much of a fighter, so he carries no weapon.
Appearance: On the short side and lanky. Has pale gray hair and blue-green eyes. Tends to prefer cooler, darker colors for his wardrobe and typically wears a scarf around his head. He also always wears a dolphin pendant. He is still clearly boyish in appearance, but carries himself as if he’s older. He is, in reality, a virtual being, but there is nothing in his appearance that would suggest that. He is fully tangible.
Personality: Makubex is a teenager who was forced to grow up too fast. In flashbacks, he appears cheerful and carefree. But when he first appears, he is cold and calculating. The events after Ginji’s departure left their mental scars, but after the I.L. incident, some of his old self reappears. He can still be melancholy at times, but he smiles much more easily.

He sometimes comes across as a know-it-all brat, but usually means well. MakubeX takes his responsibility as the leader of Lower Town seriously, willing to sacrifice himself or his own well-being for his friends and his people. His friends mean the world to him and his greatest fear is losing them. In the manga, we see that he keeps an eye on what his friends are up to, always offering help when needed, usually by sending his followers.

While it was initially a shock, MakubeX is okay with his identity as a computer program. He is unable to leave Infinity Fortress in canon, so while he does have an interest in the outside world, he is unable to experience it for himself. Therefore, he will likely be confused in a new environment until he can get to know the place better.

Re: APPLICATION: [noodles~] 2/?
Strengths: Makubex is intelligent and particularly good with electronics. He is becoming a better leader after initially ruling through fear. He can be charismatic, but not as much as Ginji was. While he isn’t much of a physical fighter, he’s still an asset in battle with his use of technology and ability to adapt, even if he doesn’t always make the right choice. He is fiercely loyal to those he cares about, willing to sacrifice himself for their sakes.

Weaknesses: MakubeX lacks physical strength. Due to his nature, he has never been outside of Mugenjou, so he lacks hands-on experience in the world outside. He can be selfish, manipulative, dramatic, and occasionally suicidal. He tends to cling to those he cares most about.

Fears: MakubeX’s greatest fear is being abandoned. Due to living in a cramped city all of his life and a recurring nightmare, open spaces also make him a bit uneasy.

Re: APPLICATION: [noodles~] 3/?
History: Before running off to join the VOLTS, MakubeX lived with a pharmacist named Gen, who had found the boy as a baby, abandoned in a bag on the street. The name “Makube” was written on the bag. Gen raised the boy as his own, and after some time, an “X” was added to Makube’s name to represent the unknown. Gen introduced him to computers and, eventually, MakubeX learned even more on his own.

MakubeX admired Ginji and eventually ended up as one of the Four Kings of the VOLTS. Some time during the reign of the VOLTS, Ginji met Ban Midou and left Infinity Fortress. Shido, Kazuki, and Masaki soon followed, one by one, leaving MakubeX, who took Ginji’s departure rather hard, as the leader by default.

Very soon after, the Beltline thugs began descending upon Lower Town. The relative peace established by the VOLTS was shattered and the young leader couldn’t pick up the pieces fast enough. He then decided he had to do the unthinkable, hardening his heart and giving himself the persona of a wicked ruler, willing to kill those who got out of line. In order to perpetuate this image, MakubeX created virtual “rebels,” who he would have publicly put to death. While this did help control Beltline invasions, maintaining such an image took its toll on the boy, causing him to go mad.

At some point in time, MakubeX hacked into what is known as the Archive. The Archive is used by the “gods” of Babylon City to control what happens in the lowest layer of Infinity Fortress. As it turns out, much of Infinity Fortress is virtual reality, including a number of its residents, intended to be used for experimentation. Makubex discovered that only one thing could change the prophecies set by the gods: the presence of Ginji and the Lightning Emperor. The Lightning Emperor’s existence was never a part of the Archive and, thus, alters all of its prophecies.

Realizing this, MakubeX devised a plan to return Ginji to Infinity Fortress and force the gods to return everything back to the era of the VOLTS. His bargaining chip would be an atomic bomb, intending to destroy the fortress if the gods refused.

MakubeX stole, or had someone steal (it isn’t specified, but this is more likely), a disc, called I.L. containing various calculations needed to complete his bomb. I.L. served another purpose: to lure the GetBackers into Infinity Fortress. Also pulled into the retrieval mission were two of the former Kings, Shido and Kazuki, and two transporters, Himiko Kudo and Kuroudou Akabane.

When the team entered the fortress, MakubeX began a series of challenges, involving his own virtual realities, set matches between the retrieval team and MakubeX’s own followers, and/or his wire doll system. The wire doll system consists of a thin wire, difficult to see, that affixes itself to the target’s neck. This allows the target to be controlled like a puppet via computer. The controller can maximize the target’s potential. Usually, the target collapses from the strain after the wire is disconnected.

The matches and challenges MakubeX sets up are mostly character specific. For example, he arranges for Shido and Kazuki to face two of his followers, who both happen to be former VOLTS members once close to the other Kings. Shido was forced to face Emishi, an old friend and Kazuki faced his childhood friend and guardian Juubei.

At the end of the story arc, Emishi, Juubei, and Juubei’s sister, Sakura, realize what MakubeX is trying to do and how much he has changed. They end up siding with the retrieval group to stop him. Everyone finally arrives in Makubex’s control room, where the boy is waiting. Once Ginji defeats a virtual replica, the group faces the real Makubex, who reveals that his bomb is complete. And with all of the players in place, he makes his challenge to the gods of Babylon City.

Re: APPLICATION: [noodles~] 4/?
He never gets his response. Ban uses his third Jagan of the day on MakubeX, using the distraction to take away the detonator. The dream ends with everything and everyone destroyed with MakubeX standing alone in a barren wasteland, eventually rotting away himself. He realizes that, in the end, he was really just lonely.

MakubeX admits defeat when he realized what has happened. He tells the retrievers that he has one thing left to discover and flees to the rooftop. He asks the gods if he truly exists before stepping off of the edge.

Ginji suddenly bursts out of a window, grabbing MakubeX in midair, using his electricity to slow their descent and cling to the side of the building. MakubeX asks why Ginji saved him, and denies the answer Ginji gives: everyone will be sad. Ginji insists that he would be sad and MakubeX seems to take this to heart. Juubei then leans out of the nearest window to pull the two back in. MakubeX sees his friends and followers waiting there for him and declares he’s back.

The bomb is then destroyed and I.L. turned over to the GetBackers. Ginji officially recognizes MakubeX as the new leader of Lower Town. MakubeX vows from that moment on to form bonds among his followers based on trust, rather than by fear.

Here the anime and manga diverge, so I will be taking him from just after this point in time.

A journal, hm? This place gets more and more curious by the minute. The dolphin on the cover is a nice touch, by the way. Thank you, mysterious captor.

In any case, the search for answers begins. I suppose I will keep track of my findings here.

Step one: Find out where “this place” is, who is in charge, and why (and how) I am here.

Sample RP Post:
He didn’t panic, initially. While it was unsettling that he’d woken up in a completely unfamiliar environment, MakubeX saw no reason to assume he was no longer in Mugenjou. Odds were this library was simply virtual. Surely he was someplace within the fortress.

He knew he’d been abducted. He didn’t remember falling asleep, although he didn’t recall being assaulted, either. Well, that didn’t matter. Now he needed to find a way out.

The trick was simple in theory: visualize the room in its true state. Four solid walls. The exit would be easy enough to find. The boy closed his eyes, shutting the extravagant library from his mind. Four plain, solid walls… Yes, that’s all this room was. He stepped forward, arm outstretched.

When his hand rested along the spines of a long row of books, MakubeX opened his eyes, frowning.

“This can’t be right…” he murmured. “This can’t be real.”

He made another attempt with the same result.

“This can’t be…”

Makubex sank to his knees, staring up at the bookshelf in front of him. Babylon City, perhaps? No, this place didn’t feel like Mugenjou at all. He bit his lip, glancing around. No, he couldn’t panic. This place was new, but he had to find out where he was and, more importantly, how to get out.

He got back to his feet and brushed off his clothes. He’d begin by finding someone. Surely in a place this big, he wasn’t the only person.

Character's Series Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness
Characters Name: Tycho Erasmus Brahe, Doctor of Apocalyptic Studies
Age: 32
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons Occult Knowledge (Doctorate in Apocalyptic Studies), Mastery of Metaphysically Enhanced Tommy and Shot Guns, Underwater Basket Weaving, Fortune Telling Machine Repair, walking and reading at the same time while avoiding obstacles, and Playing the Spoons. Tycho has some magical ability, but not in a cool Harry Dresden way. He does not "cast spells" per sae, he is neither a wizard or sorcerer. He can figure out and use magical items as well as perform rituals.
Appearance: Tycho is a human male of average hight with scruffy auburn hair. He has a pair of fierce sideburns but otherwise his lantern-jawed face is clean-shaven. His fashion sense is reasonably casual for an educated man of the 1920's. You can see what he looks like on the left in this picture. In case you're wondering, those pants are called "knickerbockers" and yes, those socks are Argyle.
Personality: Tycho is the absolute picture of snark, if he likes a person they won't be subjected to it quite as much... Unless that person is Gabe. Then all bets are off. He enjoys unnecessarily large words, reading and deflating Gabe's ego. His outward demeanor is nearly always seemingly reserved and polite. Moments when Tycho behaves like anything one might call emotional are few, far between and often brief. Tycho ALWAYS has a book of some sort in his hand and will read it if whatever is going on doesn't actively interest him. (This includes walking from one place to another.)
Strengths: Tycho is somewhat unflappable. In stressful situations he is usually (not always) calm and observant. Tycho is also secure in his own intelligence, he understands where his abilities fall and he's not afraid to consult somebody in an area about which he has little or no knowledge. Tycho's main strength is his education. He has a doctorate in apocalyptic studies, when it comes to ending worlds in a Chuthulhu Mythos/Steampunky kinda way... Tycho really knows his shit.
Weaknesses: Tycho has something of a glass jaw. Poke him twice and he falls over. He's also extremely morally ambiguous, he'll do a lot of really shady things to stop the end of the world. (Like, oh, I don't know... Killing innocent hobos.)
Fears: As previously mentioned, Tycho is pretty unflappable... Though he will run screaming from a burning building. He does have a thing about possibly going crazy and being relegated to living out the rest of his days imprisoned in an asylum.

Re: APPLICATION: [Sushi] 2/?
History: For many years Tycho Brahe was a perfectly normal New Arcadian youth with a healthy interest with Those Things Man Was Not Meant To Know. His strained relationship with his brother didn't bother him all that much for one very good reason; his brother is an arrogant jack ass. Arcane studies tend to run in the Brahe family, but Tycho's brother shunned it for a lucrative career in business, going so far as to change his last name to "Forthwith". Despite the strained relationship with his brother, Tycho is very fond of his niece "Anne-Claire Forthwith". Anne-Claire is a tween with a fondness for flowery language (like her Uncle) and a genius level ability in science, invention and tinkering. Tycho often visits her to give her gifts, consult her on scientific matters, assist in procuring anything she might need for her inventions and having her upgrade his guns.

As well as a tendency to study That Which Man Was Not Meant To Know, of most likely because of it, the Brahe family tends to go a bit batty after reaching a certain age. Tycho often visited his Grandfather, Father and Uncle at the Cloying Odor Asylum where, it's said, numerous generations of Brahe ended up. Tycho hates the place and seems to blame the asylum, at least in part, for the situation... (After the events of PAA episode 2 however, this isn't so much of a problem.)

As a youth Tycho attended the New Arcadia Old Academy and received a doctorate in Apocalyptic Studies (his bachelor's being in underwater basket weaving). Upon graduating, Tycho founded the Startling Developments Detective Agency with a charter to "Tread, without fear, in the whispering dark." Tycho, along with his partner, Johnathan "Gabe" Gabrial, take on cases too startling for the competitors. Gabe has become like the brother Tycho never really... wanted. How did they meet? Well, it's a long story. You really should be glad you don't know actually...

Character's Series Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness
Characters Name: John "Gabe" Gabriel
Age:32
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons Boxing. Lots, and lots, and lots and lots of boxing. Punching in general. Punching humans, punching monsters, punching devils, punching ghosts, punching robots, punching dark gods, punching robot gods, punching the devil himself. The man is damn good at his job, and his job is to punch things until they cease to move.

He's also fairly adept at pie baking and accidental arson.

As for weapons, he on occasion makes use of various brass knuckles, spiked brass knuckles, hand blades and, in one incident, demonic gauntlets that stuck spikes into his hands.

He wasn't overly happy about that.

Appearance: Frequently described as a "Man-bear" or "Man-Beast", Gabe is, truth be told, pretty built, with a much more developed upper body than any of the other characters and huge fists, although with surprisingly lean legs. His spiky hair frequently defies gravity as it shoots out over his face in a kind of anime-pompadour.

He's usually found dressing very casually, black pants, white shirt, suspenders. Here is a picture:
http://flickr.com/photos/strongestgirl/3020427840/ Dude on the right

Personality: Gabe likes punching. No, seriously, he REALLY likes punching. A lot. I'm not exagerting here, it's kind of his motivating factor in all of life. At one point, his partner Tycho describes him as "thirsting for murder".

All that being said, he's not just a mindless killer. Okay, he might a bit mindless at times, but he does have a vague sense of right and wrong and good and evil, and does stay on the good side, as long he can hit things in order to serve the side of good.

He can be quite child-like (perhaps a side-effect of being hit in the head too many times), with a consistent love for cute and gold plated things. Especially gold plated cute things. Like a gold-plated poodle (it's a long story).

Strengths: The guy is a man-beast. He is seriously strong like an ox and a small pony combined (that's quite strong!) He is also quick like a greased weasel on a slip and slide rubbed with cheetah blood. It kind of helps when you're hitting things to keep yourself from being hit. That being said, even if he quick, he's also kind of insanely durable. He can take even laser blasts and able to keep running. He's also an extremely skilled boxer, so great that even the devil himself took notice for a match.

Weaknesses: Gabe is... kind of dumb. Not the brightest crayon in the box. Not strictly stupid, but definitely has a world view that would be considered childlike at best. Also, despite his punching abilities, he's not doing as much damage as everyone else. I mean, despite his strength, he's still just punching a guy next to his buddy with the shotgun.

Fears: Spiders, forks, and a world without punching.

History: Unfortunately, the series has been a bit scanty on Gabe's history versus his partner up until this point, although as Episode 2 focused heavily on the Brahe family, we hope that there will be more explained about Gabe in episode three.

What is known is this:

He ran away from home, as all great people start off as orphans. He got his start street fighting in the alleys of New Arcadia, battling thugs, hobos, and the occasional dark monster before working his way into prizefighting. His rise was meteoric, and everyone thought he'd be legendary. Everything was going great.

Then he fought the devil.

Details are unclear as to the outcome of that match, or indeed, how it happened. All that's known is that after that, his days as a prize fighter were over.

At some point, he hooked up with Tycho as Head Puncher for the Startling Development Detective Agency.

Guy came into the office today. Typically I just let Tycho handle this business side of things, unless it comes to the extracting of money from delinquent customers, as he says it.

This guy, though? This guy seemed to want something we didn't sell. Cat liscense or some shit like that. Killing gods? Sure. Fighting giant robots? No problem. Cats? We don't do cats. Well, Kemper, but he's lazy and easy to deal with.

Tycho tried talking and that worked about as well as it ever does when Tycho opens his mouth. So we tried my way.

Always works. I keep trying to tell him that, bastard never listens.

Sample RP Post:

Gabe was getting annoyed about this. There was a damn naked statue talking to him and very little in the way of devils to punch. Sure, he was TRYING Tycho's punching with words strategy and frankly, it wasn't working very well.

At least they had Mr. Tails. At least when Mr. Tails wasn't raving like a lunatic and trying to Gabe's head off.

Speaking of which, was that Mr. Tails trying to tear his head off?

"No, Mr. Tails! Bad! We don't attack our friends, unless they really deserve it or we're bored!" he shouted, delivering a quick jab to Mr. Tails face and sending the robot monkey flying through a tree.

Well, several trees.

Character's Series Final Fantasy XII
Characters Name: Ashelia B'Nargin Dalmasca
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Abilities and Weapons The princess boasts a variety of magical skills, though she prefers to rely upon her blade in battle. As a result, she is a capable fighter in close combat situations. She is resourceful and tactical, able to take command in the face of adversity, but she also works well as a team member. Having been raised in court, she is well spoken, fluent in matters of etiquette, diplomacy and, more recently, leadership. Her negotiation skills are second to none. Ashe is a determined and loyal young woman with a strategic mind and a powerful survival instinct.
Appearance: Being a princess, Ashe carries herself with a regal bearing. Her flaxen blonde hair is cut short, framing her face. Her clothing is striking, designed that ahe might blend in to the common crowd, but having quite the opposite effect. She wears a white shirt and matching armguards, emblazoned with the symbol of her royal house. Her neck is covered by a bejewelled collar, another giveaway of her status. Around Ashe's midriff is a black corset piece, below that, a curiously short, bubblegum pink microskirt. Her legs are protected by metallic greaves, finishing off with boots which also bear the royal emblem. The only jewellery Ashe wears, at present, is her silver wedding band.
Personality: Ashe herself has a gentle and caring nature, though it doesn't always show. Her past experiences have forced her to mature beyond her years; having had to cope with familial loss and gain the strength to battle for all she held dear. As a result, she is undeniably strong willed, brave and driven. It is that same determination which can make her appear cold and single-minded. She does what she must, to survive and endure for the sake of Dalmasca. Ashe's dedication to her people is the force behind most of her actions, and if not they, then the friends upon whom she has grown to depend and trust. It's an instinct for her to throw herself into any challenge she has to face, and she won't accept defeat. Ashe isn't afraid to voice her opinion, regardless of the situation. However, she isn't careless with her choice of words, and means everything she says.
Strengths: Ashe is a natural diplomat and politician. Consequently she has a way with words and is an excellent judge of character, with few exceptions. A strong leader, Ashe is able to take charge of and assess a situation quickly. When battle is the only option, she's a capable fighter and can hold her own, for the most part. Desiring peace above all, Ashe is motivated by her beliefs and will persist to ensure they are achieved - for the good of others, as well as herself.
Weaknesses: Ashe would never admit to having any weaknesses, though they are there. She would do anything to ensure the safety of her comrades and her people, should they be threatened. Her bond with Rasler was once used as a means of manipulating Ashe. Although she tries to distance herself emotionally, in order to avoid such situations, Ashe is only hume and can't help forming attachments. Also, she can be hot-headed and act on impulse, which can lead her into perilous situations.
Fears: Despite having experienced more loss during the course of her relatively short life than most, loss remains her greatest fear. Ashe is afraid of helplessness, being unable to act to improve her situation. She also fears for the well-being of the people whom she loves as her own.

Application [Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca] Part 2
History: Born the sole heir to the throne of Dalmasca, a small desert country in the heart of Ivalice, Princess Ashelia (Ashe) enjoyed an idealistic childhood within the security and comfort of the Royal Palace of Rabanastre. Politically, Dalmasca was a peaceful nation, yet tensions stirred between her neighbouring lands; Archadia and Rozarria. In the urgency to strengthen unity across Ivalice, Ashe was arranged to be married to Lord Rasler of Nabradia, creating an alliance to aid their defences. Despite the basis for their marriage, the royal couple were truly in love, which made it all the more tragic that the outbreak of war put an end to their short time together. Ashe lost her husband, father, and kingdom in one fell swoop. For two years, Ashe herself was believed dead, in which she fought in the resistance against Archadia, ever determined to reclaim her throne and free Dalmasca from oppression. Thanks to Ashe's determination and the assistance of an unlikely band of comrades, her goal was accomplished, her people freed.

First person
... I cannot believe it has come to this.

Uncle Halim is alone with the weight of leaderless nations bearing down upon his shoulders, and none to aid him, for this heartless world has claimed us all. The hopes I had resting upon the continued presence of Al Cid are no more; now that he, too, is among us. Yes, I fear for Dalmasca... for the stability of Ivalice and the freedom of my people, but I worry also for the health of my Uncle.

I dream of the desert, of the crimson hue of Galbana Lilies and Dalmascan sunsets. Gradually the colour fades into darkness and grey, and I am powerless to prevent it. I know that my people are strong, that they will endure in my absence... but the concerns remain and will do so until we are freed from this place. We do not have much, but we do have hope... and one another, and this is surely enough to build upon.

Sample RP Post:
Ashe turned and closed the door gently behind her, leaving her alone in one of many cabins aboard the Strahl with nothing but her thoughts. Beneath them, all of Dalmasca had erupted into celebration at the fall of the Bahamut, as visual a representation of their freedom as any could picture. In the weeks to come, she knew, there would be little time in which the princess could find solitude. Her eyes were stinging, and yet, only two tears had overcome her barrier of self control and rolled down her ivory cheeks. The first, representing pure elation; for two years Ashe and so many others, many of whom would always remain nameless to her, had fought for this moment. Many had given their lives to see her kingdom restored. Now, at its arrival, she knew not what to do with herself; how to react. She paced the floor, which was vibrating in a repetitive hum beneath her feet as Vaan piloted them towards their next destination, the last in their journey - the aerodrome of Rabanastre. Home.

As she thought of the building, Ashe visualised it in her mind's eye. The glass dome, chatter of travellers and moogle mechanics... the Imperial banners above every archway. The simple representation of nationality which had become a symbol of oppression and suffering to many, including herself. They, she thought with a finality with which no Dalmascan nor Nabradian alike would ever argue against, would be the first change she would make as Queen.

Weary from battle and the surge of emotions which had been the last two years, Ashe sank unceremoniously onto one of the empty bunks with a profound sigh. Soon, she would be crowned, sworn to undertake the duties of the monarch and lead her people. Her people. Ashe felt a surge within her chest which could have been anticipation, even nerves, given the scale of the next challenge in her young life. But Ashe knew pride when she felt it. She was so very proud of her people; their spirit and determination to be free had never diminished, and now they would all be rewarded. She would see to that over the years to come.

Still... there were some for whom the chance to enjoy their freedom was out of reach. And they were the reason behind Ashe's second tear. Yes, this was a time to look to the future. But it had come at a dear cost.

Character's Series: Kingdom Hearts
Characters Name: Demyx
Age: Around 19
Sex: Male

Abilities and Weapons: Demyx's element as a Nobody is water, and he can manipulate any water around him. His sitar doubles as a bludgeoning weapon. His most notable ability combines the two - while playing his sitar, Demyx can summon water forms, humanoid shapes made of water which come in seemingly endless supply. However, as controlling them takes an effort of concentration, he can't take any action while they're active.

He also possesses the less specialized powers of a Nobody - namely the ability to use dark portals, both to travel through and to materialize items from, the ability to summon and command Nobodies, and the ability to summon and command Heartless.

Appearance: The first thing everyone notices about Demyx is the mullet. His dirty blond hair stands up on top of his head, like a long crew cut, while the hair at the back is long and straight and lies against his neck. His eyes are a blueish-green, and for his age and height he's rather thin and lanky. His clothing consists merely of the standard black Organization hooded coat, pants, and boots, although his sleeves are close-fitting to prevent interference when he plays his sitar. He has a small, brightly-colored angelfish tattoo directly over where his heart ought to be.

Personality: Demyx is basically simply a gentle, laid-back teenager with an artistic bent who happens to be a Nobody. He doesn't like fighting, and has a hard time getting angry enough with anyone to actually want to hurt anybody(particularly without emotions) - although, demonstrably, his personality is passive enough that he'll allow people to boss him into doing things he'd rather not(which may include hurting people). He's friendly and cheerful, although he tends to get resentful when he's underestimated or unappreciated, which can happen pretty easily - his naivete and preference to avoid confrontation can make people think he's dumber and less competent than he is. He's also lonely; he was friends with Axel and Roxas, but both eventually defected from the Organization and left him behind. Like all Nobodies, he resents the fact that Nobodies' existences are begrudged by people lucky enough not to be Nobodies themselves.

Did I mention none of these emotions of Demyx's are real? Xemnas explained to him how he'd lost the ability to feel emotions; Demyx took his Superior's words at face value, but has made an unusual choice in the face of it - if he can't truly feel, then pretending he does is nearly as good. He doesn't see the logic in embracing a lack of emotions and eschewing everything about being human that the Nobodies are trying to get back. So Demyx took to faking emotions in situations where he knew they belonged in context, and found it came quite easily(it comes so naturally now that sometimes he forgets that he's faking).

Strengths: One of Demyx's greatest strengths is his personality. As a friendly, outwardly normal guy as opposed to his amoral brethren, it's much easier for him to get along with normal people than the others of the Organization, who don't exactly play well with others. He makes friends easily, and having spent so long without anyone who gives a damn about him, anyone who treats him well means a lot to him. While it doesn't often actually see practical use, he knows how to play a variety of instruments, having taken numerous music classes as a human before settling on the sitar as his instrument of choice.

While Demyx’s usual attitude is quite friendly, when he’s sorely pressed he takes on the characteristic ruthless determination of a Nobody and becomes considerably more dangerous. It's not quite a split personality - more that Demyx is, at his core, the same as any of the rest of Organization XIII in temperament, but has simply retained most of his former personality and maintains his human facade, needing far more prodding than the others to discard it and take advantage of not being able to feel guilt or fear. Incidentally,

Re: APPLICATION: [Instant Ramen]
discarding his cheerful mask frees up his mind considerably, so he tends to suddenly become a lot smarter.

Weaknesses: Demyx honestly doesn't have too many combat weaknesses; he's a tough opponent when he does fight. But when using water forms, his inability to take action leaves him vulnerable, if you can reach him - and if you can break his focus, his water forms will dissipate.

Although Demyx isn't actually dumb, and has his moments of insight, the fact is that he's no smarter than any early college student. It's not hard to outwit or manipulate him, and he's often quite gullible...although he is aware of these weaknesses, and so isn't naive to the fact that people may try to take advantage of him and is sometimes quite canny in picking out instances in which someone might be trying to mess with him(whereas, at other times, he's blithely oblivious).

Fears: Dying. He's already died twice, and naturally doesn't want another encore performance. This results in his appearing somewhat cowardly, as he gets extremely nervous at the slightest threat to his continued well-being. He's also afraid of being left alone or abandoned, one of the reasons he's so loyal and protective of the friends he makes. His single greatest fear, however, is not being able to get his heart back and being stuck as a Nobody forever - particularly when he's not even sure he's in the same universe as his heart anymore.

History: Demyx, as one of the most laid-back Nobodies in the Organization and thus ever to have existed, seems an odd person to have had the strength of will to preserve his personality through the transition from human to Nobody. He remembers relatively little of his time before he became a Nobody, save that his name used to be Dyme and that, given his almost magnetic attraction to music and retained muscle memory of how to play certain instruments, he was likely a musician of some sort as a human. He doesn't even recall the moment of his death, when the darkness engulfed his world, but Dyme's heart was devoured by the Heartless, and the Nobody that woke up on the World That Never Was was christened Demyx, the Melodious Nocturne and IX of Organization XIII.

I really shouldn't be here, should I? I mean...I died. For, what, the second time now? I guess given that I’ve come back from that before, it's not as surprising as it could be, but I kinda feel like I'm only still here because the universe is making some sorta persistent clerical error - like any second someone's going to figure out it's a mistake, and I'll be gone.

I guess I should be grateful...? I just wish I understood why I’m here, and what part of me it is that's still here. And where ‘here’ is.

Sample RP Post:
Demyx had never wanted to fight Roxas. Never mind that he didn't like fighting, that he was one of the weakest of the Organization in that respect, never mind that he didn't want to die and Sora had already taken down half their number; Roxas had once been his friend, as much as anyone in the Organization ever had been next to Axel, and even if Demyx couldn't really care he knew that he should and that was upsetting in its own circular way.

But the order had come down from the Superior, as nonsensical as it was - he'd actually been forbidden to kill Roxas, as if he could have, but it meant that he'd known what the outcome of their fight would be going in. And he still hadn't wanted to die, but faced with the choice of being destroyed or becoming a Dusk, he'd thought that maybe he could at least earn some respect in the Organization at the very end by putting up a hell of a fight.

But when the final blow had fallen, and even his sitar had deserted him, it had finally occurred to Demyx to wonder what the fate of nothing was. Not even the nebulous prospect of an afterlife awaited him; there was nothing of him left to continue on once his body was gone. His body had been all he had. It would dissipate, and where he had been there would just be space.

However, instead of darkness, there was suddenly a boat and a headache.

This profile suffered HUGELY from trimming it to size. The full version is here.

Character's Series Magic Knight Rayearth (manga)
Characters Name: Fuu Hououji
Age: 14
Sex: Female
Abilities and Weapons can cast wind spells and healing spells; has a guardian spirit (Windam) who can be summoned and may or may not be a giant robot from time to time; has a big sword that only she can use; also good with a bow and arrow
Appearance: Short blond hair in kind of a 60's cut; glasses; middle height; green eyes
Personality: Fuu is a polite, intelligent girl who loves RPGs and archery and has a great sense of humor. She is not one to go rushing into things, but don't think that makes her slow! She prefers a wait and see approach to decision-making. She cares deeply for her friends and will sacrifice anything for their safety and happiness. However, she also has a tendency to state the obvious, especially if she knows that doing so will push someone's buttons.
Strengths: Loyal, friendly, powerful (in her element of wind), good with a sword and a bow
Weaknesses: She struggles with decision-making if her friends are threatened, and she'd probably be pretty useless in a melee battle.
Fears: Fuu fears losing her friends and those she holds dear.
History: As a student in Tokyo, Fuu went on a field trip to Tokyo Tower. While there, she met two girls from two other schools, but before they could do more than exchange names, all three were summoned to an alternate world called Cephiro. There, they were told that they were the legendary Magic Knights and were tasked to save the Princess Emeraude.

After gaining their powers and armor (Fuu's is the power of wind/healing; her guardian spirit is a phoenix-like creature called Windam), the three girls (now close friends) battle the evil Zagato - only to realize that he and Princess Emeraude were in love! The Magic Knights must make a terrible decision; afterwards, they're returned to their own world.

A little time later, Fuu and her friends meet again at Tokyo Tower, and are once more summoned to Cephiro. This time, however, the world is crumbling; the three girls must once more don their armor to save Cephiro from invaders while a new Pillar is found.

I... this is so strange! I don't know why I'm always the one being pulled into another world, but this certainly isn't Tokyo, so that must be the case again. I haven't met anyone else yet, but doing so (and figuring out more about where - or when? - I am) is going to be one of my priorities.

This can't be Cephiro, though. Nothing is familiar, for one; as for the other, well....

Every other time I've traveled to Cephiro, I've had my friends with me.

...Sitting here daydreaming won't get anything done, though!

Sample RP Post:
A blonde girl appeared suddenly, with no fanfares or flashes of light. One moment the room was empty, and the next it was occupied by this girl in the green school uniform. She touched a curious bracelet on her wrist absently, as though to make sure she were still wearing it.

She opened her eyes and seemed startled by what she saw; startled, but not overwhelmed. With a sweeping glance she took in the whole room - its books and its great windows and the dappled sunlight falling onto the walls and the floor.

"I've never seen this part of Cephiro before," she murmured to herself as she walked slowly towards one of the windows. "Am I somewhere in the castle?"

She reached the window, then, and what she saw took her breath away. The window looked onto a narrow lawn surrounded to the left and right by majestic oak trees, but this verdant sight couldn't keep her attention: ahead of her, stretching to the horizon and beyond, was a sapphire blue ocean.

Fuu Hououji stared for a long moment at the vista, listening to the whirling gulls and the crash of the surf below the lawn's edge. "This isn't Cephiro," she said quietly to herself. "This isn't Cephiro, and I don't know how to get home."

Character's Series Final Fantasy XII
Characters Name: Captain Basch fon Ronsenburg of Dalmasca
Age: 37
Sex: Male

Abilities and Weapons He mostly uses swords, but is also very well versed with a bow. Which evens him out a bit. He also can cast magicks, healing and protective, along with summon monsters called Espers. Along with that he has three powerful attacks that he can use, more like a mix of physical power and magic put together. They are called, Fulminating Darkness, Ruin Impendent, and Flame Purge. Having taken over his brother's life after the events of the game, he learns how to wield his brother's blades as well.

Appearance: Basch is tall, probably just around six feet tall, with a fighters build. Muscular and strong from many years of swinging a sword in the name of Dalmasca, he is hardly a smooth skinned pretty thing. Though he is in far from lacking good looks. His skin is tanned from living under the harsh sun of Dalmasca, his blond hair probably lightened by its rays. His hair is a bit above shoulder length and almost gives him a look of a surfer dude. Not that there are a surfer dudes in this world. He has blue eyes that are usually full of sorrow, and he ever looks like he's squinting. Who knows if it's from bad eyesight or not. His shoulders and back are marred with many scars from his time in Nalbina, some will fade most will stay as they are rather ugly and deep. There is one that arcs over his left eye and down across his left ear that is rather impressive. And for a man that was in a cage for two years he has some pretty impressive abs, which his outfit shows off quite nicely.

Speaking of his outfit, it's a mishmash of leftovers that he was given to wear. Shoulder armor for his left one, a white cotton sleeveless undershirt with frills on the edges, a red leather vest with belt buckles to wear over that for his top. He wears knee length tan shorts, various armor for his legs over them, and strange boots that lace up all the way up to his knees. He also has a fancy green tassel on his pants as an accessory. A pair of protective gloves are also worn on his hands. Besides that the only part of his outfit that is really his is the pendant around his neck that has the shape of a bird almost. Probably a remnant from his life in Landis.

Though, now as it's been a year since happenings in game, his appearance is different. His hair short and cropped close to his scalp much like his twin's. His clothing is dark, black leather pants that he wears under his brother's Magister armor, accompanied by tall boots, and the long sleeved ribbed turtleneck that is also black. Under this he most likely still wears the necklace that he ever wears during events in the game.

Personality: Basch is a very calm and quiet individual. He doesn't speak much, rarely speaking his mind. If he is spoken to he'll reply, though that is usually the only time he'll open his mouth. Standing in the background quietly, watching everyone, watching the princess who he so loyally follows. He's much like a dog, an older dog that silently stands beside his owner's legs, waiting for the command to do something. Anything. He doesn't expect anything in return for his silent duty, he merely wishes to protect the young princess of Dalmasca and see her back to her thrown as is rightfully hers. It probably wouldn't be too much to say he'd sacrifice his life for the princess and her country.

After two years of torture and incarceration by his enemy, the Empire, and his brother's hands, he came out seeming rather sound of mind... but it is obvious he had too much time to think while down there. He sees himself as only a tool, an item, that has a usefulness. As long as he can be used and can be useful to those around him and the princess of Dalmasca, then he has purpose. Surviving two years of hell for her, if she were to die, it would be as if he no longer had a reason to exist.

Part 2
Personality Continued:
Basch also carries a lot of guilt with him. For fleeing his homeland and failing to protect it when he was but a young boy, probably around his early teenage years, and losing his family, all but his twin brother. He ran to Dalmasca, while his brother fled to the ones who'd destroyed their homeland. He then adds more guilt to this by failing to protect his princess' newly wed husband in battle, bringing his lifeless body back to her after fleeing the lost battle. Then one more time, as him and his comrades marched to protect their king during the false treaty signing that lead to the king's death. Failure to save him, and then framed as his murderer. The guilt was too much, before he was then informed while that the princess had taken her own life, a lie, in her grief.

It was his only little hope for living when he heard word of a resistance leader named Amalia... he knew the meaning of that name. It was the princess' false name, used in times like this. He had one last chance to make up for all his failure, and so being the broken and shamed man that he was, he took that chance when he was freed from prisons clutches. So now, much like a dog, he loyally stays beside the princess, hoping his past record of failing does not follow him about this time.

Strengths: Basch is a power house, he's very strong and can take a good beating, but is not quite as quick to attack. He makes quite the good meat shield as well, if you have weaker members in your party.

Weaknesses: Slower to attack than some, he makes up for it in strength and defense. Is extremely selfless, to the point it is probably bad for him. He lived through two years of torture and pain for one person, the reason he still draws breath. He also has an inferiority complex, stemming from his failure to protect many things in his life, though most of it not his fault he feels he should have been able to do better. So he drives himself hard to make up for it, ever acting as if he is nothing more than a being to be used as needed to accomplish things.

Fears: Failing to protect those important to him, or failure to protect the land he serves, again that is. Though technically he already had, though in a sense it wasn't his fault, though he'll still blame himself. It's not discussed or brought up in game, but after two years of torture in Nalbina, one can only guess he'd have plenty of fears stemmed up from that.

History: Basch was born in the Republic of Landis, but after it's downfall in war he ended up in Dalmasca. Joining the Order of the Knights of Dalmasca, he rose in the ranks to become a Captain, along side Vossler York Azelas, and using his strength and great combat skills protected Dalmasca with all his being. He was different being of common blood, much unlike many of the Captains, and was renown for being a brave and gallant knight, winning many battles.

After bringing word of the fall of Nabudis, an alley country, he went off to protect another alley in trouble, the new husband to his kingdom's princess, Prince Rasler following in his footsteps. Needless to say things did not fair well, and try as Basch might, he did not come back to Dalmasca with good tidings. Nalbina was taken over, and he returned, a slain Prince Rasler slung over his chocobo.

Not long after Captain Azelas and him were charged with protecting their king, who was at a treaty signing, and most likely a trap. In the end, Basch slew their king... or so it seemed, his twin brother's face used to frame him. Set up by the Empire, he was dragged away, his name dragged through the mud and supposedly put to death for his crimes. So why is man dead man still alive? Two years of rotting in Nalbina's dungeon, tortured and beaten, in hopes of telling his captors, the Judges of the Empire, any details they would wish to know about the land of Dalmasca they had conquered. Steadfast, Basch never gave in.

By mere luck and perhaps the will of the Fates, Basch is freed, accidentally, by two sky-pirates. A Balthier and Fran, along with a wannabe thief that got caught up with them, named Vaan. Now free of his cage he can at last have his second chance to protect Dalmasca.

Character's Series Magic Users Club
Characters Name: Takakura Takeo
Age: around 17 or so.
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons Takeo has a magic wand that had a bird shape on the top and he can use that and special cards to cast all kinds of magic spells.
Appearance: He’s pretty average looking with glasses. He does have kind of an interesting hair cut though. His expressions give away his emotions… as in literally he has words written all over his face.
Personality: Takeo is a really big dork, but he means well. He is constantly bothered by perverted thoughts that turn into extremely elaborate fantasies. This is even worse when the underclassmen in his club all turn out to be very attractive young women (and for a while he even considers his sexuality carefully when an extremely attractive young boy joins the club). He has a problem where he likes to “show off in front of the girls” where he’ll literally put himself in a dangerous situation all while trying not to lose face in front of the other members of the club. Magic is pretty much everything to him as he doesn’t have an kinds of plans outside of it despite the fact that he’s a senior and should be worrying about college. Takeo also always wants to try and do the right thing, that’s one of the major reasons it takes him so long to admit how he feels about Sae as he fears his position as he upperclassman would mean that he’s taking advantage of her. Takeo goes out of his way to help her when she is in trouble though and takes personal responsibility for her well-being. In truth, he adores her completely (though that doesn’t stop him from having perverse thoughts about other girls >.>). The bane of Takeo’s existence is Miyama and while others figure out that in truth that big-boobed manga queen likes Takeo all Takeo can think about is how much he hates her and will never, ever forgive her for all that she has done to him. He is not very popular at school and his only friends are the club members, but he doesn’t let that bother him and takes his duties as club president seriously. He also tends to be pretty down on himself when things go wrong though, as he feels that all of it is due to his own failings.
Strengths: Takeo is pretty good with magic and languages. He pretty much taught himself all of his magic despite the fact that the book he found is written in a different language. He made the other wands that the Magic Users Club uses on his own and all of the cards they use. He’s able to remember a lot of spells and is the one who gives magical advice to the club.

APPLICATION [Sushi -- Take 2] -- Part Two
Weaknesses: Outside of magic, Takeo is pretty clueless. He is pretty weak willed, especially when up against his arch-nemesis and her boobs. He’s extremely perverted and lets his bad thoughts get in the way of being productive. His problem with “showing off in front of the girls” is also a major weakness as it will get him into trouble. He’s not very good in a physical fight and isn’t very fit (in fact he’s got a little bit of pudge on his stomach, much to the distaste of his little sister). As good as he is at magic his knowledge of it is extremely incomplete, which leaves him vulnerable to those more powerful with it than him.
Fears: Being humiliated. Miyama. Ghosts and things like that. Losing Sae again.
History: During summers in his childhood Takeo would go and visit his grandfather by the beach. Unfortunately Miyama’s family had a beach house close by and the girl would torment Takeo. In order to hide from her Takeo found a cave and within that gave was the magical book called the Grimoire. He became obsessed with the Grimoire and began to teach himself the magic within it.

Once in high school Takeo founded the Magic User’s Club. The members included himself, his friend Aburatsubo (who is literally very gay for him) the star-student of the school, two 2nd years named Sae and her friend Nanaka and a freshman named Akane. At one time a girl named Miki was also in the club. Miki’s father is a grandmaster sorcerer in England.

When an alien force known as “the Bell” came to Earth and investigated it Takeo, victim to one of his ‘showing off’ moods, claimed that he would defeat it with magic. The Club then set out to destroy the Bell and … succeeded (thanks mostly to Sae’s powerful natural magic).

After that Sae’s abilities gave form to Jurika (the rather beautiful boy mentioned above). He caused a lot of trouble for the Club, using his knowledge as part of Sae to manipulate them. When Sae realized what she had done and that all the trouble was her fault she swore off magic but Jurika couldn’t have that. Basically… he stole Sae and hid her. Panicked that he would never see her again, Takeo looked everywhere for her and was eventually able to find her. Finally, the two revealed how they felt for each other.

Takeo is close to graduating but hasn’t really given college a lot of thought. He wants to become a grandmaster sorcerer like Miki’s father but other than that he’s not really planning for the future.

Character's Series Final Fantasy 12
Characters Name: Larsa Ferrinas Solidor
Age: 13
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons The Joyeuse and the Swordbreaker are his own unique weapons. He can use the basic types of White magic in the FF type worlds (cura, vox, poisona, blindna, etc). The original version of the game also gave him unlimited Potions. XDD Fighting wise, Larsa can handle himself pretty well but that doesn’t mean that his guard is really willing to have him go off all the time (even though that doesn’t really stop him). Larsa is also a pretty decent leader, despite his age, and psychologically is extrememly strong.
.
Appearance: Larsa has shoulder length brown hair that flips at that back and gray eyes. He is an attractive young man with pale skin and slightly girlish features. He’s only 12 in the game and 13 by the end of it, so he’s got some growing up to do.

Personality: Larsa is an idealist and a pacifist. He truly believes that peace is what is best for the world and actively seeks it out, even going so far as to aid people that his Empire deems enemies (he helps Ashe and her party escape). He understands that war will only bring suffering to all people and constantly attempts to find peaceful ways to end the conflict between the countries of Ivalice. He is extremely well educated, well mannered and well spoken (That’s right Vaan… well-spoken! ‘I’ve got the Princess covered’? Honestly). He conducts himself in a way that he knows is becoming of his name and his station and acts on the concepts of chivalry and truth (for example, he protects Penelo and releases Ashe so that she can uncover the truth behind the empire’s actions). Larsa always has good intentions and when he makes mistakes he quickly apologizes for them (such as when they learn more about the nethicite the first thing he does is take the piece he gave Penelo and then apologizes for ever giving it to her). At first Larsa adores his older brother (even defending him when he and Penelo speak) but has Vayne’s true goals come to light Larsa confronts him about his course of action and ultimately protects Ashe’s group from Vayne’s attack.

Despite his manners and demeanor Larsa is not to be completely overlooked. The Judges that love him point out that his “no puppet” simply because he is a child. Larsa possess a lot of inner strength. At first he doesn’t believe he’ll have a chance for the throne and doesn’t desire it (as he thinks Vayne will be a good leader) but as he takes over the role of Emperor he takes it very seriously and uses his power to bring an end to the war. Larsa is decent in battle but also is prone to impulsive actions such as giving his guard the slip to investigate the mines that hold answers to some of his questions as well as throwing objects at the heads of men who are threatening to take him hostage to collect a bounty (without even knowing who he really is). Larsa really dislikes being treated like a child though, as the one major character to treat him as such, Al-Cid, is met with irritation and vague disgust when he does (Al-Cid pats Larsa’s head when they meet on Mt Bur-Omisace and Larsa pushes his hand away and makes a very irritated sound).

Larsa feels loyalty extremely strongly and truly appreciates it when people feel it towards him as well. When Gabranth died Larsa was deeply affected and though he appreciates the fact that his brother Basch has taken his place he also has let Basch know that the knight is allowed back leave whenever he likes. He is also loyal to Ashe, Penelo and their friends.

Re: APPLICATION [Sushi] Part Two
Strengths: His fighting ability and his natural leadership skills are a strength. His innocence and dedication to peace and justice are as well, as they help lead the world into peace. His psychology is also very strong as he is able to deal with some pretty shocking revelations (such as that his beloved brother is a freakin’ psycho) and still hold true to his own ideals. He doesn’t let people control him, leaving the Judges that like him to have an entire conversation about how he is “no puppet” or a “docile lamb to be shepherded” by the controlling Senate.

Weaknesses: Larsa is at first blinded by his adoration of his brother to the type of person that he is as well as to what his Empire has been doing. He is extremely naive about how things work and while NOT easy to take advantage of, he is still a child. While he can handle himself well Larsa isn’t really the strongest fighter ever in the world and would rather give himself up if it meant that he could avoid anyone getting hurt.

Fears: War and other pointless bloodshed. He does not want his people or the people of his neighboring countries to suffer needlessly. He feels it is his responsibility to help stop that kind of pointless battle.

History: Larsa is the youngest of four sons. His two eldest brothers were killed by his closest brother Vayne (and it is possible that Larsa doesn’t even remember those two older brothers). His father was Emperor Gramis Solidor, the 11th emperor of Archadia (the fourth baring the name Solidor). Though his father was along in years, Larsa felt extremely devoted to him growing up, as well to his brother Vayne and to House Solidor. This devotion did not translate into blindly following his family into war, however. He sees the potential in the Empire for good and wishes to make that come to pass, instead of continuing tyranny and abuse of power.

When he was 12 Larsa got involved in the conflict between Ashe and his brother Vayne. He went against Vayne in the name of peace. He teamed up with Ashe’s friends three times (though the first was before Ashe herself joined the party). He helped Ashe escape from captivity and also attempted to help her ascend to her throne completely peacefully by coming with her to Mt Bur-Omisace (a plan he thought up that would have worked if not for the fact that his father was killed before they could actually do it). Finally, he protected Gabranth and Ashe’s party when they confronted Vayne for the last time. After Vayne’s death he took control of the Empire (lying to the troops and telling them that Vayne died an ‘honorable’ death).

The struggle also took away Gabranth’s life but his twin brother, Basch, took his place at Larsa’s side. Though Larsa is the Emperor, he still keeps in contact with Penelo through letters and considers her a dear friend.

Character's Series Groove Adventure Rave/ RAVE Master
Characters Name: Sieg Hart
Age: 27
Sex: Male
Abilities and Weapons Elemental Magic
Appearance: Tall, blue eyes and hair, with a tattoo on the right side of his face.
Personality:

Sieg is usually cool, calm and collected, with a rigid, steadfast approach to duty. He takes his job as a Guardian of Time very seriously, and above all, his main objective is to protect it. He is even ready to sacrifice himself for it. Despite his stony expression, he is actually quite warm-hearted, though he doesn't show it. Sieg is smart and an expert magician, and usually thinks every plan through before a battle.

Strengths: Good-looking, magically powerful & skillful, smart, great stamina (battled for 7 days and nights without food or water)
Weaknesses: Can be too driven in his quest to protect time
Fears: The death of his friends, destruction of the world/time stream
History:

WARNING! SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES.

Not much is known about Sieg's origins, but there have been unconfirmed suspicions. Some of them are his age (27) and that he is the son of the (now-deceased) Emperor of the Empire. It is known that he lived in Mildea, a city of mages dedicated to protecting time, though whether he was born there or simply grew up there is unknown. Sieg set out on a quest to destroy an experiment by an unnamed group who sought to recreate a powerful source of magic (Aetherion). He found an amnesiac girl, whom he assumed to be an experiment, and attempted to kill her.

He later finds out she is still alive, and sets out to kill her again, but is thwarted by the Rave Master.

Haru (the Rave Master) teaches him the value of the human heart, and that life does not always need to be sacrificed for peace.

Sieg sets off on his own, once again continuing his quest to protect time, though eventually he finds that his fate is intertwined with Haru's and Elie's (the girl he tried to kill). He becomes a key player in their quest to save the world. Later on, Sieg sacrifices himself for the sake of time and his friends by staying behind when the trio get transported back in time to 50 years ago, and protected Elie's memories ever since.

SAMPLE POSTS
First person

It appears something strange is afoot.

I awoke to the sounds of birds chirping, bright light streaming through the net of stone carvings above me and illuminating the darkness behind my eyelids.

It was morning, but I don't remember falling asleep.

I don't even remember it being night.

The last thing I recall is opening a book in the Mildean library. This one, in fact. It is probably foolish of me to keep writing in this, but in case anything happens, I need a log of my experiences, that the same thing may not befall another unfortunate being. Least of all, Niebel, who will for sure open any strange book he sees. If you ever read this Niebel, stop doing it. You'll find yourself encountering stronger magic than you can handle. Come to think of it, I wonder if my magic works in this place. In any case, whatever the writings in this... journal, for now... turn out to be, I must continue on. There is no point in waiting where I am.

Who knows, perhaps I may even find something useful while I am here in this strange place.

Perhaps Time has called me here.

I must find my way back as quickly as I can. I cannot be absent from my duty for long.

Sample RP Post:

Sieg frowned as he listened to thewind. Something about it felt... wrong. He couldn't put his finger onit, but something about this element felt off. He did not trust itenough to attempt to fly, and so continued on foot, listening to therustle of leaves as he walked.

He looked around, trying to find amarker for a way out of this forest.

Nothing but stone, dirt, sand and bark.

The trees looked to mostly be heavy, large trees, like some kind of oak. Very few of them were flowering, and it didn't look like any of them ever bore fruit. Sieg wondered ifthere were any berries or something of the sort, anything edible.

He stopped, suddenly.

It had become quiet.

Very quiet.

All the birds had stopped chirping, andthe rustle of leaves and branches became the snapping of twigs andrustle of bushes. He narrowed his eyes, casting his gaze around himwarily.

Something was here.

Was it man or beast? Perhaps somemonster.. who knew what these woods held.

It was quiet once more.

Did the beast turn away? Had it passed?Maybe a full-grown mage didn't look appetizing at all..

Something leapt from the bushes.

Sieg brought his arm up, out and downwithout even thinking about it, calling lightning down upon whateverhad lunged at him on reflex.

He blinked at the charred remains.

It looked like...
