RULES;; 

1. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. / RESPEK

Respect the moderators. This means coming to us if you experience a problem and following the rules we've laid out. Really, if you have a question, complaint, problem with another player, or don't know if something will fly, TALK TO US. Chances are we can help you work it out.
Respect your fellow players. This means treating them as you'd like to be treated. If you don't like someone OOC, then don't interact with them. If they're harassing you or making you in ANY way uncomfortable, talk to us. Just because this game is 18 or older doesn't mean you, as a player, should be put into an uncomfortable situation. We have zero tolerance for harassment. We also will not allow drama. While we will do everything we can to resolve an issue, we're not your babysitters and we won't hold your hand. Everyone here is over the age of 18 so if you don't want to approach players or the mods with a problem to get it resolve and then feel the need to go to anon community to complain, you will be banned. We don't need any drama here. This is pretendy funtiems, not serious business or your personal wankfest. If you don't want us to resolve your in-game issues by TALKING TO US, then please do the decent thing and find a game more suited to your tastes.

2. NO GODMODING OR METAGAMING.

No godmoding. NONE. If you don't know what this means, this probably isn't the place for you. But let me give you the skinny: You do not autohit; meaning land a heavy blow to another character without the mun's (the other player's) permission. You do not declare another character dead or beaten without the mun's permission. You control your characters and your characters ONLY unless given permission to do otherwise. You get three strikes and then you're out.  ALSO. No Metagaming.

Metagaming falls under Godmoding in that your character obtains IC knowledge about a situation that they should not by any means have. A simple example would be if Character A killed Character B and Character C knew off the bat (or even suspected) it was Character A without having witnessed the crime or even knowing ANYTHING about Character A. Character C would be Metagaming and like godmoding, (s)he would get three warnings before getting the boot.

3. STAY IN CHARACTER.

Please have a good grasp of your character's character. This is roleplay and obviously some creativity is expected. But we all know that Sailormoon wouldn't go on a killing rampage.

4. BRANCH OUT AND BE ACTIVE.

This is a panfandom game. If you're here to roleplay with only characters from your fandom, you're in the wrong place. I'm sure you can find a game exclusive to your fandom that tickles your fancy. And don't just make journal entries, expecting people to flood you with comments and attention. Take some initiative and interact with others. Don't worry, they don't bite :3

5. 18 OR OLDER ONLY.

This game has a lot of adult themes, and I don't mean sex. There will be torture, death, and psychological issues. This game is, essentially, dark fantasy. Neither of the mods are comfortable letting in someone underage into the game. We're really sorry.
 
6. DRASTIC PLOT TWISTS MUST BE CLEARED WITH THE MODS.

While this is a dark game, anything involving rape, torture, and/or death will need to be run by the mods, detailing what you want to have happen and the immediate and what you think will be long term effects. This may sound strict but this will keep out those players who play up rape and torture simply for their wun twu wuv to comfort them out of their trauma.

7. SAME AS 6.

Please run events that will effect more than five characters or any of the places by the mods.
 
8. LERN 2 SPEL GUD.

Literacy. This goes without saying. We don't mind typos and the occasional screw up, but please, please, PLEASE, take advantage of LJ's spellcheck. It only adds an extra thirty to forty-five seconds and really helps you and your character not look like an idiot. On the other hand, if your character isn't that great at writing, keep that in mind, 'kay?

9. ONE GAME PER JOURNAL, 'KAY?

Please use your character's journal only for this game unless you drop. I've seen people use journals for more than one game at a time and it can get confusing. Also, please have an AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Trillian, or Pigeon account we can contact you at.

10. PRETENDY FUNTIEMS NAO?

Did you slog through that okay? It looks like a lot, but it's really just common courtesy.
